Gabe Yesho – CEO/President
Mr. Yesho is the principal founder and president of DBA Consulting. Gabe has extensive experience in information technology, data analysis methodologies, and SQL and Oracle databases management. He holds Microsoft MCITP and MCTS certifications. Before creating this company, he worked as an analyst for Denver Health, supporting critical decision systems using high level computer languages. Gabe is highly versed in medical terminology, health insurance portability and accountability, and HIPAA Standards. He is a Computer Training Specialist and has designed, developed coordinated, delivered, and evaluated information systems training for Health Care professionals and local government employees. He also owns and operates Denver DBA Limousine Service, supporting the transportation needs of the Denver metropolitan and surrounding areas.
As Chief Executive Officer and founder of a small nonprofit organization called KAFFA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (KDA-USA), a Colorado nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for educational and scientific purposes, Mr. Yesho coordinated the efforts with numerous NGOs from the USA, in building a rural Medical Center in a remote area of the Southern part of Ethiopia called Kaffa. This Medical Center serves more than 300 patients every day. The Center recruits doctors, nurses and field managers mostly from North America and trains local medical staff. Currently, the center has over 56 full time local employees working with American Volunteer Doctors and Nurses and continues to amazing things in Ethiopia. In 2004, KDA built a middle school which serves 7th and 8th graders, bought desks, and has shipped over 16, 000 used books for the libraries. In fact the town of Chiri now has running water and electricity thanks to the Medical Center project, the work of the Kaffa Development Association and leadership of Mr. Yesho.
Gabe has a strong education background and experiences abroad. Gabe holds a MS Degree in Computer Technology From Regis University, Denver, CO in emphasis Database Administration and Networking Technologies and a BS in Computer Management Science in Emphasis in Information Systems from Metropolitan State University of Denver, CO.
Gregory Rhead – Principle Consulting Partner
Mr. Rhead is an experienced strategic management and technology professional with over 20 years of experience in R&D, operational management, and quality assurance in the medical products, pharmaceutical, and logistics and supply chain industries. Mr. Rhead has vast experience providing executive-level capital project leadership to the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries. At Baxter Healthcare, he has successfully led corporate cost reduction and efficiency initiatives by implementing Just-in-Time and Lean philosophies optimizing the efficient transfer of goods and services from the global supply chain to the customer. Greg has also pioneered innovative approaches to supply chain quality by leveraging the best-in-practice methodologies of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) as the means in which to meet international medical products standards thus establishing a unique business process for effectively managing supply chain capabilities, controlling costs, and driving efficiency gains. Mr. Rhead’s key competencies include project budgets and master program schedules, facilitating the development of technical specifications, bidding, subcontractor and supplier buy-outs, cash flow forecast, change order and scope deviation management. Mr. Rhead started his career as an R&D scientist working for a number of medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University majoring in physiology.
Garth Ries – Principle Consulting Partner
Garth is a business focused technology executive with a passion for partnering with people in all areas and levels of an organization to identify, implement, and maintain technology solutions that not only support business operations but drive opportunity, improve efficiency, and manage risk. Garth has experience leading all stages of technology solution development including problem/opportunity identification, solution definition, process analysis, project management, design, implementation, quality assurance, documentation, training, maintenance, and support. His entire career has been spent in the financial services industry where he has gained extensive experience working with internal as well as outsourced business functions.
After starting out his IT career as a programmer analyst at Oppenheimer Funds, Garth progressed to various roles of increasing responsibility. The past 14 years have been spent in various IT management roles culminating with his last role as Vice President of Technology at Old Mutual Capital. During this time, he successfully managed application development, network infrastructure, telecommunications, information security, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, help desk and support functions.
During his IT management career, Garth has teamed with other senior IT and business executives to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategic technology vision. He has improved IT organizational maturity and discipline through the design, development, and promotion of corporate information technology standards, policies, and procedures covering project management, information security, risk management, systems development, change management, and systems documentation.
Garth has an outstanding ability to recruit, train, support, and retain diverse teams of talented, motivated IT professionals. He has successfully managed staff performance and implemented individual development plans.
Perhaps most importantly, the last several turbulent years in the financial services and technology industries have given Garth the opportunity to develop and demonstrate a proven ability to manage significant changes in technology, industry climate, business direction, and personnel.
Bereket Solomon – Senior IT Analyst
Mr. Solomon has had a vibrant management and technical career working in a leading organizations and government contracts through large-scale and challenging technology initiatives.
Solomon is a technically sophisticated and business-savvy professional with a career reflecting strong leadership qualifications coupled with vision dedicated to the success of the enterprise and small businesses. His skills include the deployment of key IS/IT technologies including system design and integration, client server networks, desktop and database management systems, help desk architecture and data center management.
Solomon has a diverse industry experience in both the private and public sectors that includes healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, communications, financial, real estate, law firms, non-profits and even the Federal Aviation Administration.
Solomon has several years of experience with Hewlett Packard, plus additional experience with health care industry leaders such as White Memorial Medical Center, Denver Health, and Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System’s (SCL).
